Ceramic shards are unique items found in excavation sites, which will be present upon the release of 1.17 - Caves and Cliffs.

Overview[edit | edit source]

Ceramic shards come in various types, all of which are used to craft decorative pots. Each different type of ceramic shard is meant to depict a different picture of something in the game, such as an Ender Dragon, a Skeleton, a Tree or a Vindicator. These can then be placed and customised on Clay Pots.

Obtaining[edit | edit source]

Ceramic shards are obtained with brushes at excavation sites by brushing away layers of soft blocks like gravel and sand.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • According to Jasper Boerstra, the current designs of the items are placeholder art. [1]
