Tuff is a block that will be added in the 1.17 update. It was shown off in Minecraft Live 2020, and was added to the game in the 20w45a snapshot. It is spawned with Deepslate. As of 21w08a it now is replaced by Smooth Basalt in a geode.

Mining[edit | edit source]

Tuff requires any pickaxe to harvest, otherwise, it will drop nothing.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Tuff has no use other than for aesthetic purposes, based on current information.
  • Tuff seemed to resemble the outer layer of an amethyst geode in real life, then it was replaced.
