Warped Fungus is a type of fungus that was added in the 1.16 - Nether Update. It most commonly generates in Warped Forests but can also be found in Crimson Forests. It also can be found in Bastion Remnant chests.

When you use BoneMeal on nylium it spawns Warped Fungus. Warped Fungus can spawn on both types of nylium, but Warped Fungus is more likely to spawn on Warped Nylium.

When Bonemeal is used on Warped Fungus while it is on Warped Nylium it grows into Huge Warped Fungus. This tree-like structure has Warped Stem and Warped Nether Wart Blocks.

Warped Fungus can also be used to attract and scare away mobs. When placed down, Warped Fungus scared away Hoglins and causes them to run up to 7 blocks away from it.

Striders on the other hand, are attracted to Warped Fungus, and it is used to breed them. You can also craft Warped Fungus into a Warped Fungus on a Stick by using a Fishing Rod, and with a Saddle you can ride a Strider.
